Trued collects no personal data and has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Trued is a ballistic calculator. Everything it computes and stores stays on your device. Beta versions send crash reports and the feedback you choose to write; that is the only data that ever leaves your phone, and it is described in full below.
While Trued is in beta testing it reports crashes automatically, and lets you send written feedback from inside the app. Both go to Sentry, hosted in the European Union.
A report contains only:
A report never contains your rifle profiles, bullet data, DOPE corrections, environmental inputs, or your position. Your device name and IP address are not attached. Reports are not used for advertising or profiling, and are not sold or shared.
You can switch this off at any time under Settings → Send crash reports and feedback. Turning on Mission Mode stops all reporting regardless of that setting, including automatic crash reports.
Nothing beyond the crash reports and feedback described above. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or devices.
Your rifle profiles, bullet data, environmental inputs, DOPE corrections, and exported cards are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded — including in a crash report or feedback. Deleting the app removes them.
If you enable it, Trued reads your device GPS to obtain latitude (for the Coriolis effect) and altitude (for air density). This happens entirely on the device, is used only for the ballistic solution, is gated by the app's Mission Mode, and is never stored off-device or transmitted. The app is fully usable without location by entering values manually.
Where available and permitted, Trued reads the barometer and compass on the device for environmental inputs. These readings are used on-device only and are not transmitted.
To request deletion of crash reports or feedback you have sent, email contact@heimo.ai from the address you contacted us with, or describe the report. Trued has no user accounts, so there is nothing to delete beyond those reports. Everything else — your rifle profiles, bullet data and DOPE corrections — is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Cards you exported into your photo gallery, or shared to another app, sit outside Trued and stay until you delete them there.

Trued is intended for adult precision shooters and is not directed at children.
If a future version adds further network features (for example profile sync), this policy will be updated and the change disclosed before that feature is enabled. Crash reporting and in-app feedback were added on 5 August 2026; before that date Trued made no network connections at all.
